Since its founding in 2007, The Mountain Air Community Fund (MACF) has been an active participant in supporting local nonprofits through grants and volunteer efforts. Over the years, we’ve proudly raised nearly $1.5 million to help organizations that serve Yancey County residents, focusing on key areas that align with our mission to address the community’s most pressing needs. Our grants empower nonprofits to continue their essential work, funding both ongoing projects and specific initiatives that make a real impact. Together, we are creating lasting impact through food security, economic opportunity, family wellness, and the arts.<\/span><\/p>\n But MACF is more than just funding \u2014 it’s about building a stronger, more connected community!\u00a0 We invite residents to get involved, whether by volunteering for a local cause, serving on one of our committees, or offering financial support.
